Management

Karl Kipke
Founder and CEO
Mr. Kipke has over 30 years of experience in investment banking, asset management and venture capital. He has played key-operating roles in numerous companies in an array of industries where he was involved in all facets of company development from start-ups to mature businesses. Mr. Kipke has been instrumental in establishing, funding, scaling and selling successful businesses by leveraging his financial expertise and keen strategic vision. The first 11-years of his career was spent working with Wall Street luminaries at Morgan Stanley and Bear Stearns. From 1994 – 1999, he managed a large family-office where he distinguished himself as an active investor in public securities. His extensive operating experience and successes span several industries, including financial services, pet food, healthcare and consumer electronics.
Gregg Honigblum
Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer
Mr. Honigblum has over 30 years of experience as a financier for emerging growth companies specializing in the healthcare sector. From 2001-2013, he was the CEO and co-founder of Creation Capital LLC and Creation Capital Advisors, an investment banking firm with offices in New York City and Austin, TX. Mr. Honigblum provided strategic advisory services and raised over $500 million in private equity for numerous businesses in the healthcare space. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at Westlake Securities in Austin, TX leading their healthcare banking practice. Gregg holds a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
Scott Prideaux
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Prideaux is a Certified Public Accountant that has spent 38 years in Public Accounting and Private Industry serving in a variety of financial accounting roles. This includes the last nineteen years as the Controller and then Chief Financial Officer of an Austin, Texas based family office and commercial real estate enterprise. Mr. Prideaux’s extensive operational experience will be instrumental in his responsibilities for the daily accounting and operational reporting functions, investor relations, and customer service for HealthGrowth Capital. Scott spent the early part of his career in the Fort Worth and Singapore offices of Price Waterhouse, after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stephen F. Austin University with a major in accounting and a minor in management.
Christian Herrington
Chief Business Development Officer
Mr. Herrington has more than 30-years of sales, sales management and executive management experience with leading pharmacy wholesale distributors. He rose to prominence at Bindley Western running their Retail Sales Force and national accounts, then managed the transition and assimilation into Cardinal Health’s organization after its acquisition of the company. Chris then joined HD Smith as senior executive and aided in its growth and success over the last 16 years, before it's recent acquisition by AmerisourceBergen. Mr. Herrington is a key opinion leader in the pharmacy space and possesses a unique understanding of the financial challenges and operating opportunities faced by independent pharmacy owners. He earned his BS in Pathobiology from the University of Connecticut.

George Fencl
Chief Marketing Officer

George Fencl brings significant experience in the healthcare space, whether preparing early-phase brands for successful launch, carving out emerging therapeutic classes, strengthening market position of follower products, or re-establishing competitive strength and leadership of well-established offerings and companies. As a strategic account planner for Young and Rubicam, in New York, he has lead major marketing initiatives for Bristol-Myers, Microsoft, LasikPlus, United Healthcare, Abbott/AbbVie, Dell, AARP, J&J and many others. At leading SF-based healthcare agency, Giant Creative, George established digital strategies and deployed successful promotions for some of the highest selling pharmaceutical products in the most recent decade, both blockbusters and new category killers. Mr. Fencl holds a BA from Harvard University.

Megan Leyble
Director of Risk & Analytics
From 2009-2016, Ms. Leyble was employed as a senior executive at Promed Healthcare, a leading provider of Healthcare Financing. As a valued member of the managerial team, Ms. Leyble focused on underwriting, business development, and strategic partnerships. Ms. Leyble has a proven history of being able to streamline processes from lead origination to funding by mastering the intricacies of all core business functions. She prides herself on building strong client & ISO relationships and prefers to take a consultative approach when evaluating a client’s credit risk and sales performance. Megan holds a BA in Psychology from Binghamton University and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.

Douglas Hoey, RpH, MBA
Mr. Hoey is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Community Pharmacists Association. He has spent more than 20 years working in and representing community pharmacies. NCPA represents the nation’s more than 22,000 community pharmacies and their pharmacists. He is a licensed pharmacist in Oklahoma, Virginia, and Texas and practiced for five years in community and long-term care pharmacy settings, contributing to the development of expansions into durable medical equipment and home infusion. For five years, Hoey also developed and taught pharmacology courses at George Washington University and Marymount University. He is also co-chair or chairman of the boards of directors for Surescripts, Mirixa, the NCPA Innovation Center, and the Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network-USA. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy and the Oklahoma City University Meinders School of Business.
Philip Theoharides
Mr. Theoharides has more than 30 years of corporate lending and asset-back structured finance experience. Currently, Mr. Theoharides is a Managing Director at Balance Point Capital Advisors, LLC, a private equity and debt fund focused on investments in US based lower middle market companies. Prior to Balance Point, Mr. Theoharides spent 13 years with GE Capital creating and raising over $2 Billion for innovative co-investment programs. Also, throughout his career he also held senior managerial positions for TPG (Texas Pacific Group) Credit Management and Katonah Capital and Debt Advisors (a Kohlberg Capital company). Mr. Theoharides is an expert in securitization having structured over $5 Billion in transactions. He received a B.S . from Skidmore College with a concentration in accounting.
James E. Lineberger
James E. Lineberger has been a member of Lineberger & Co., LLC since joining the firm in 1988. Lineberger & Co., LLC is a private investment company engaged in financial asset management for the personal accounts of its affiliates and members. The firm has evolved from an investment banking firm and member of the New York Stock Exchange in 1968 to a diversified investment company. Mr. Lineberger serves on the board of directors of several of the firm’s portfolio company investments. Before joining the firm, Mr. Lineberger was an analyst with the Eastern Corporate Finance Group of General Electric Capital Corporation as a financial analyst. Prior thereto, he was a staff accountant at Sensormatic Electronics Corporation. He received a B.A. in History from Denison University in 1983.
David M. Hoisington
Mr. Hoisington has over 25 years of experience as an investment advisor. Mr. Hoisington currently serves as Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Strategic Investment Committee at Hoisington Investment Management Company(HIMCO) which manages over $6 Billion for institutional and high net worth family offices. Prior to HIMCO, Mr. Hoisington worked at Anderson Consulting and equity departments in New York at both Goldman Sachs, and J.P Morgan. Mr. Hoisington holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
